Nutrition Shampoo Bar
Solid shampoo bars are environment friendly and are a part of the zero waste movement, not only you can easily travel with them, they last longer and they are plastic-free. So many reasons to make them yourself, you can adjust any recipe to your hair type and needs.
The base for the shampoo bar is a surfactant, you can try different kinds of surfactants and find what works best for your hair type. I personally prefer the SCI since it’s plant driven, very gentle on the hair but still cleans well.
The recipe here makes for one bar, so if you want to make two just double the amount.
